Home Instead is the nation's premiere network providing supportive homecare services enabling elder individuals to "age-in-place" with dignity in the comfort and familiarity of Home, be that a single family residence, a downsized apartment or condo, or even and assisted living community. Our services entail providing assistance with both primary and instrumental activities of daily living - consistent with the typical job duties of a personal care worker, home health aide, or certified nursing assistant. We value and reward professionalism in demeanor, conduct, and experience, and endeavor to support a career path for employees seeking to advance their training or certification level.
As opposed to working in a facility, where you may often find yourself stretched thin due to short staffing, with HomeInstead, you are attending to only one or two patients at a time (typically spouses) - allowing you to focus your care and efforts on the individual - consistent with a more person-centric methodology of care delivery. Our relationships with our clientele tend to be long-term, requiring regularly recurring, on-going assignments that often increase in accordance with the progressive and evolving needs of the patient. Depending on how many hours per week you desire to work, and the nature of care required by any given client, your schedule may consist of multiple different clients with simpler needs, or you may be a part of a larger team of aides providing extended care or even 24 hour care to a single patient with more extensive care requirements. #dnpm
